W artykule przedstawione są wyniki dwóch badań na temat spostrzegania sprawczości i wspólnotowości nauczycieli przez uczniów oraz wpływu spostrzeżeń na postawy wobec nauczycieli. Spostrzegana przez uczniów sprawczość okazała się przeciętna lub nieznacznie powyżej przeciętnej. Podobnie niska była wspólnotowość nauczycieli, którą uczniowie uznali zaledwie jako przeciętną lub poniżej przeciętnej. Oceny nauczycieli na obu wymiarach okazały się istotnie wyższe (pozytywne) niż oceny uczniów. Ponadto wyniki tych ostatnich pokazały rozbieżność między realnym a idealnym obrazem nauczycieli (badanie 1). W drugim badaniu uczniowie wyrażali swoje ustosunkowanie wobec nauczycieli. Postawa ogólna, predyspozycje na dyrektora oraz pożytek dla szkoły nauczyciela zależały od jego sprawczości i wspólnotowości. Lubienie nauczyciela zależało od jego wspólnotowości, a respekt od jego sprawczości. Ponadto sprawczemu nauczycielowi badani uczniowie przypisywali wysokie kompetencje, a wspólnotowemu wysoką moralność. Brak wspólnotowości niósł za sobą przypisywanie nauczycielom wysokiego poziomu egoizmu i kierowania się wyłącznie własnym interesem oraz szkodzenie uczniom. Wnioski płynące z badań dają wgląd w rzeczywistość społeczną szkoły i mogą być przydatne dla nauczycieli, studentów kierunków pedagogicznych i instytucji kształcących nauczycieli.

The paper presents the results of two studies investigating the influence of agency and communality of teachers as perceived by their students as well as the influence of perception on students’ attitudes towards teachers. In Study 1 students were asked to say how they perceive their teachers. Agency and communality of the teachers, as perceived by the students, turned out to be average or below average. In contrast, self perception of the teachers was more positive than that of the students. Moreover, there were discrepancies between the real and the ideal image of the teachers. In Study 2 students were asked to evaluate teachers. It turned out that the subjects’ perception of and their attitude towards the teachers depended on their agency and communality. Commune teachers were generally liked and believed to be moral and agent teachers were respected and considered competent. Low communality of the teachers was perceived as selfishness and something harmful to students. The findings of the two studies show the reality of the school and may be useful for teachers, students of educational faculties as well as institutions training teachers.
