Descriptive geometry is a necessary part of the engineering drawing practice; it stimulates and develops spatial imagination, the ability to visualize three-dimensional objects and the attention of accuracy of the graphical solutions. In this case, the following script contains a large number of auxiliary drawings showing the mutual position of the discussed figures.
The intention of the author is to make this script suitable for ordinary students who begin to study. It contains many practical examples with solutions shown step by step in order to help learners to practice independently. Every chapter also includes exercises as the practice is invaluable and vital in achieving fluency at drawing, reading and analyzing of engineering drafts.
Presented exercises set the direction in preparation for achieving the engineering knowledge and skills.
This script is not substitution of lectures, the attendance and involvement in course at the university is highly advised.
Skrypt zawiera materiał z zakresu geometrii wykreślnej dla Wydziału Instalacji Budowlanych, Hydrologii i Inżynierii Środowiska Politechniki Warszawskiej. Celem skryptu jest ułatwienie samodzielnej pracy studentom rozpoczynającym naukę na kierunkach technicznych. Treści teoretyczne uzupełnione zostały praktycznymi przykładami rozwiązanymi metodą „krok po kroku”, pozwalającą na głębsze zrozumienie omawianych zagadnień. Każdy rozdział zawiera dodatkowo zestaw ćwiczeń, które mogą służyć studentom do sprawdzenia stopnia opanowania umiejętności rozwiązywania problemów praktycznych.
